children's ministry

As your child gets involved in LCC and the many activities listed here, let's work together to raise them so that the impression of God's Word leaves a mark in their lives and the lives around them.

"These commands that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

Deuteronomy 6:6-7

Our Mission

It is our desire that children know and worship the Lord God as the Creator and stand firm on the truth of scripture.
It is our calling to bring children to the place where they can meet Jesus and know Him as their personal Savior.
It is our commitment to provide opportunities for children to learn and experience God's love and grace, as well as provide a place for families to gather together in fellowship.

Each summer, we take a week to provide a special hands-on experience for children to learn about God. VBS offers a fun and new adventure each year. The week-long program includes music, crafts, Bible stories/adventures, games, snack, a chance to help a cause in need, and a lot of excitement!

Summer Camps

Children of all ages have opportunities at different times throughout the summer to attend a summer camp at Round Lake. These are unique places where the gospel of Jesus Christ can be experienced in nature with kids their own ages from across the state and adult volunteers to help guide them. They also will be able to enjoy the outdoors with campfires, songs, swimming, games, and the chance to build long-lasting friendships.

Christmas Play

Every year, our children have the privilege to share the greatest story ever told. 'Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given' (Isaiah 9:6). Play practice starts on Sundays in September from 11:30am - 1:00pm. It is always such a treat to see their excitement when spreading the good news!
